Leslie Strader – Vice President of Communications
Leslie has a life-long interest in education. From the generations of educators in her family, to her three-year stint as education reporter for the Abilene Reporter-News in the 90s, to serving as PTA president and board member at the three Tyler ISD schools her children attend, Leslie’s passion has always been connected to the classroom. Leslie is a wife to Ross, senior pastor of Bethel Bible Church, and mother to her three children, but believes her obligation in the community extends far beyond the four walls of her home. “Speak up for those who can’t speak up for themselves” is the principle that motivates her involvement in Tyler Proud. As vice president of Tyler Proud, Leslie handles the communication and administrative workings and provides supports to the board of directors.
